Whistler, British Columbia, is a Canadian summer resort town. Often Whistler is considered a premier winter location, but increasingly it is becoming a summer resort location.  Located around 125km North of Vancouver, it lies in the pacific ranges of the Coast Mountains. Whistler is well known for its alpine mountains, and over 2 million tourists visit Whistler yearly; most tourists are there mainly to enjoy their famous mountain biking and alpine skiing. Summer is definitely the best time to visit Whistler with your family (you can keep your adventures for winter).
